New World Disorder:
Managing Risks across
Technology, Climate, and Conflict
Today's global landscape is marked by unprecedented volatility, amplified by intensifying geopolitical tensions that heighten cyber threats and magnify climate uncertainties. The real time GenAI "arms race”, primarily between China and the USA, underscores significant jostling for technological leadership, triggering widespread impacts across global markets and geopolitical stability.

At the same time, the noticeable retreat of businesses from international climate commitments signals a troubling weakening in collective climate action. This withdrawal leaves not only environmental goals at risk but also creates a concerning void in global leadership.

Against this backdrop, the 15th QED Changemaker Forum convenes C-Suiters, Board Directors, and senior business leaders to engage in critical dialogue on navigating these intersecting risks to address and gain insights to:

-
Assess the business impact of geopolitical tensions—particularly trade wars, tariffs, and conflicts—on cybersecurity and climate strategies.

-
Identify proactive steps for business leaders in Asia to take in safeguarding their organizations against emerging risks and uncertainties.

-
Explore ASEAN’s potential as a stabilizing force and advocate for collective action on technology and climate resilience.
